STRAWBERRIES
Strawberries are finished for the 2011 season. They should be ripe around Memorial Day next year.
BLACK RASPBERRIES
Black raspberries will be ripe again around the third week of June 2012.
RED RASPBERRIES
Last year the fall red raspberries were very, very nice. The fall crop will actually start mid-August and bear fruit until the first frost (usually in October). Please check back and we will notify you when picking begins. The early summer crop is finished for this year.
2011 Seasonal Hours
June and Beginning of July Hours:
THE LAST DAY WE WILL BE OPEN FOR THE SUMMER CROP IS SATURDAY, JULY 9.
Mid-August through October:
Stokes Farm will be open for the fall raspberry crop Monday-Friday 4pm-8pm and Saturday from 8am-4pm. Closed on Sunday.

We do our best to make picking fruit an easy and enjoyable experience for your whole family.
- Please go to a small white sales building (down the gravel lane past the white farmhouse with the green roof ) at 2882 Center Road to receive supplies and directions to the appropriate field. Disposable containers to pick into are provided for our customers at no cost.
- Restroom is centrally located.
- The strawberry fields have straw between the rows. Raspberry fields have wide mowed grass aisle ways between rows.
- You are welcome to bring a blanket and picnic lunch or dinner to enjoy by our pond or under the shade trees.
- Cold bottles of water are available for sale.
- Children are welcome on our farm.
- Cash or check are the preferred method of payment. Because we do not have electrical lines or phone lines out near our fields, we do not accept credit cards. We apologize for any incovenience this may cause.
SAFE FRUIT
The use of pesticides on fruit crops has been a highly publized media topic. Stokes Farm does not use organophosphates on our strawberries, raspberries, blackberries or any other crop grown on this farm. Nutritional safety is an upmost priority.
